# Anticipate vs Countdown Calendar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Anticipate at every 3 days against Countdown Calendar's every 6 days. Countdown Calendar's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anticipate sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Countdown Calendar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anticipate ships an update every 3 days, Countdown Calendar every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
