# Secure Folder vs WhatsBackUp

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: WhatsBackUp at 13.0 against Secure Folder's 16.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Folder sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and WhatsBackUp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
