# PDF Editor ++ vs Modify PDF Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: PDF Editor ++ at every 2 months against Modify PDF Pro's every 6 months. Modify PDF Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Editor ++ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Modify PDF Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Editor ++ ships an update every 2 months, Modify PDF Pro every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
