# Picrap vs Doodles

The clearest difference is ads: Doodles at none against Picrap's shown. Picrap's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Picrap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Doodles sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Picrap ships an update every 4 days, Doodles fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
