# ClassFast vs Tutor Diary

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tutor Diary at none against ClassFast's 3. Tutor Diary also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). ClassFast's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClassFast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Tutor Diary asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ClassFast against 5.0 for Tutor Diary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassFast has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ClassFast ships an update every 2 weeks, Tutor Diary every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
