# Block Loop vs Dot Circuit

The clearest difference is ads: Block Loop at none against Dot Circuit's shown. Dot Circuit's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Loop sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Dot Circuit sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Loop ships an update every 2 weeks, Dot Circuit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
