# Total Focus vs loopStream

The clearest difference is update cadence: Total Focus at fortnightly against loopStream's every 2 months. loopStream's advantage is device support (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Total Focus sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and loopStream sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Total Focus ships an update fortnightly, loopStream every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
