# ScriptCam vs Continuo

The clearest difference is rating: Continuo at 5.0 against ScriptCam's 4.2. Continuo also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ScriptCam's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScriptCam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Continuo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Continuo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScriptCam has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScriptCam ships an update every 4 months, Continuo every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
