# FAA vs UK Ground School

The clearest difference is update cadence: UK Ground School at every 5 days against FAA's every 8 months. FAA's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FAA sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and UK Ground School sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
