# FAA vs PilotPrep

The clearest difference is ads: FAA at none against PilotPrep's shown. FAA also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FAA sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PilotPrep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
