# Voicenotes vs NoteVela

The clearest difference is update cadence: Voicenotes at fortnightly against NoteVela's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voicenotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and NoteVela sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voicenotes ships an update fortnightly, NoteVela monthly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
