# Olively vs Relate

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Relate at 100% against Olively's 44%. Relate also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). Olively's advantage is ratings volume (603 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Olively sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Relate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Relate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olively has 603 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Olively's written reviews are positive against 100% of Relate's.

Olively ships an update weekly, Relate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
