# Shadowing Lab vs 巨浪

The clearest difference is monetization model: 巨浪 at freemium against Shadowing Lab's subscription. 巨浪 also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Shadowing Lab's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shadowing Lab sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 巨浪 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
