# BarNoR vs ExNotion

The clearest difference is update cadence: ExNotion at weekly against BarNoR's monthly. BarNoR's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BarNoR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ExNotion sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BarNoR ships an update monthly, ExNotion weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
