# Underlairs vs Ambient Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Underlairs at every 3 weeks against Ambient Timer's every 2 months. Underlairs also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Underlairs sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Ambient Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Underlairs ships an update every 3 weeks, Ambient Timer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
