# Underlairs vs Arctic Habit

The clearest difference is ads: Underlairs at none against Arctic Habit's shown. Underlairs also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Arctic Habit's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Underlairs sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Arctic Habit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Underlairs against 5.0 for Arctic Habit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Underlairs has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Underlairs ships an update every 3 weeks, Arctic Habit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
