# Fluent Notes vs Deferred

The clearest difference is update cadence: Deferred at every 5 days against Fluent Notes's every 6 weeks. Deferred also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). Fluent Notes's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluent Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Deferred sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fluent Notes ships an update every 6 weeks, Deferred every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
