# 2sec vs ReadyCam

The clearest difference is ads: ReadyCam at none against 2sec's shown. 2sec's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

2sec ships an update weekly, ReadyCam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
