# DOPro vs Camera18

The clearest difference is update cadence: Camera18 at every 2 weeks against DOPro's every 6 weeks. Camera18 also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DOPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Camera18 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DOPro ships an update every 6 weeks, Camera18 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
