# Hot Pot Food vs Patchwork Planet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Patchwork Planet at every 3 days against Hot Pot Food's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hot Pot Food sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Patchwork Planet sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hot Pot Food ships an update every 2 months, Patchwork Planet every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
