# Y2K Retro Camera & VHS Cam vs Pixie+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pixie+ at ad-supported against Y2K Retro Camera & VHS Cam's subscription. Pixie+ also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (35 vs 7). Y2K Retro Camera & VHS Cam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Y2K Retro Camera & VHS Cam sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Pixie+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
