# LevelUp vs Top

The clearest difference is ads: LevelUp at none against Top's shown. Top's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LevelUp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Top sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LevelUp ships an update every 2 months, Top every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
