# Polly.com vs TesterMAX

The clearest difference is monetization model: TesterMAX at free against Polly.com's free with in-app purchases. TesterMAX also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Polly.com's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Polly.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.5K and 3.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Polly.com's written reviews are positive against 74% of TesterMAX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Polly.com ships an update fortnightly, TesterMAX every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
