# Counterpart vs MasterCast

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MasterCast at none against Counterpart's 2. MasterCast also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Counterpart's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counterpart sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. MasterCast asks for nothing beyond the download.

MasterCast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Counterpart has 90 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
