# ChoreNote vs Task

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChoreNote at every 2 days against Task's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChoreNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Task sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChoreNote ships an update every 2 days, Task fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
