# VPN vs VPN

The clearest difference is rating: VPN at 4.6 against VPN's 3.3. VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (55% vs 30%). VPN's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 4.7K ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 30% of VPN's.

VPN ships an update monthly, VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
