# VPN vs VPSUS

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPSUS at free against VPN's free with in-app purchases. VPSUS also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). VPN's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 313). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and VPSUS sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 4.7K ratings behind it against 313, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 55% of VPSUS's.

VPN ships an update monthly, VPSUS every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
