# VPN vs Lima

The clearest difference is ads: VPN at none against Lima's shown. Lima's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Lima sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN ships an update monthly, Lima every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
