# BrainBoost vs Purp

The clearest difference is ads: Purp at none against BrainBoost's shown. BrainBoost's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainBoost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Purp sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrainBoost ships an update every 4 days, Purp every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
