# Final Size vs Shift

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shift at weekly against Final Size's monthly. Shift also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Final Size sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shift sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Final Size ships an update monthly, Shift weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
