# FOMO Circles vs RatMap

The clearest difference is ads: RatMap at none against FOMO Circles's shown. RatMap also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (20 vs 4). FOMO Circles's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FOMO Circles against 5.0 for RatMap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RatMap has 20 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FOMO Circles ships an update every 2 days, RatMap every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
