# Elixir vs English Practice

The clearest difference is update cadence: English Practice at weekly against Elixir's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elixir sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and English Practice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
