# Tempus vs Wait

The clearest difference is ads: Wait at none against Tempus's shown. Wait also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). Tempus's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tempus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Wait sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tempus ships an update every 4 days, Wait every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
