# FitnessDiary vs SteadyLift

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FitnessDiary at none against SteadyLift's 1. SteadyLift's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SteadyLift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FitnessDiary asks for nothing beyond the download.

FitnessDiary ships an update every 2 months, SteadyLift every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
