# Boulder Pushers vs Shoot Die Repeat

The clearest difference is rating: Boulder Pushers at 4.4 against Shoot Die Repeat's 3.9. Shoot Die Repeat's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (33% vs 16%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boulder Pushers sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Shoot Die Repeat sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Boulder Pushers's written reviews are positive against 33% of Shoot Die Repeat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Boulder Pushers ships an update fortnightly, Shoot Die Repeat every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
