# TimeLog vs Vanishing Tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vanishing Tasks at every 9 days against TimeLog's every 3 weeks. Vanishing Tasks also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeLog sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Vanishing Tasks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeLog ships an update every 3 weeks, Vanishing Tasks every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
