# TimeLog vs CheckPad

The clearest difference is update cadence: CheckPad at weekly against TimeLog's every 3 weeks. CheckPad also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeLog sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and CheckPad sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeLog ships an update every 3 weeks, CheckPad weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
