# CV Builder vs PDFPress

The clearest difference is update cadence: CV Builder at daily against PDFPress's every 6 weeks. CV Builder also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CV Builder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PDFPress sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CV Builder ships an update daily, PDFPress every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
