# KeyTimes vs Custom Widgets

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KeyTimes at none against Custom Widgets's 3. Custom Widgets's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Custom Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. KeyTimes asks for nothing beyond the download.

KeyTimes ships an update fortnightly, Custom Widgets every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
