# ReelTales vs Reel Loop

The clearest difference is ads: Reel Loop at none against ReelTales's shown. Reel Loop also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReelTales sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Reel Loop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReelTales ships an update every 3 weeks, Reel Loop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
