# AnyToSpeech vs Aloud

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aloud at every 2 weeks against AnyToSpeech's every 2 months. AnyToSpeech's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnyToSpeech sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Aloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnyToSpeech ships an update every 2 months, Aloud every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
