# Intentional vs LOCKR

Intentional and LOCKR both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Intentional's written reviews are positive against 18% of LOCKR's. Intentional also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). LOCKR's advantage is ratings volume (342 vs 7) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intentional sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and LOCKR sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LOCKR holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LOCKR has 342 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Intentional's written reviews are positive against 18% of LOCKR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Intentional ships an update monthly, LOCKR every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
