# PopShows vs EmoTales

The clearest difference is update cadence: EmoTales at every 4 days against PopShows's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PopShows sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and EmoTales sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PopShows ships an update every 2 months, EmoTales every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
