# Tougher vs Patches

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Patches at 13.0 against Tougher's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tougher sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Patches sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tougher ships an update every 3 weeks, Patches every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
