# Notes Me vs AskFirst

The clearest difference is update cadence: AskFirst at every 2 days against Notes Me's every 10 days. AskFirst also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1). Notes Me's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Me sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and AskFirst sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Notes Me against 5.0 for AskFirst. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AskFirst has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Notes Me ships an update every 10 days, AskFirst every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
