# Fenk Ai vs 9xchat

Fenk Ai and 9xchat are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Fenk Ai sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and 9xchat sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fenk Ai ships an update fortnightly, 9xchat weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
