# SlideForge vs iOS Desktop Mode

The clearest difference is ads: SlideForge at none against iOS Desktop Mode's shown. SlideForge also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). iOS Desktop Mode's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). Both are free to download. SlideForge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and iOS Desktop Mode sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
