# Flock vs Vrolu

The clearest difference is ads: Vrolu at none against Flock's shown. Vrolu also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 1). Flock's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Vrolu sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Flock against 5.0 for Vrolu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vrolu has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flock ships an update weekly, Vrolu every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
