# CaddyGo vs Distance

The clearest difference is ads: Distance at none against CaddyGo's shown. Distance also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CaddyGo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Distance sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CaddyGo ships an update every 5 days, Distance every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
