# Voicena vs Dice Roller

The clearest difference is rating: Dice Roller at 4.3 against Voicena's 3.6. Dice Roller also leads on ratings volume (794 vs 5). Voicena's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voicena sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Dice Roller sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dice Roller holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice Roller has 794 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Voicena ships an update every 3 weeks, Dice Roller every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
